Zenspa Signature Deep Tissue Bodywork
A more focused massage reduces areas of general tension or chronic discomfort due to sports, incorrect posture, or over-worked muscles. This restorative bodywork is firmer and more specific, yet always stays within your level of comfort. Sessions may be: full-body for general tension, or partial-body for specific problem areas. For all massages, pressure is adjusted to each client’s preference and comfort level. Signature Swedish Relaxation and Deep Tissue Bodywork massages have five different options in their treatment times.

Reflexology
Reflexology maintains a link between the feet, hands and internal organs. Specific techniques are used to work these reflex points, resulting in stimulation and relaxation of internal organs and structures.

Personal Indulgence Massage

Royal Zen Massage
A thai herbal poultice brings a deep medicinal heat to the muscles, releasing tension and revitalizing your mind. This treatment utilizes pressure-point massage with an energizing blend of aromatherapy oils.

Abhyanga
Warm oils specially blended for your ‘Dosha’ (body type) are used to rejuvenate your body system. We combine the application of herb infused oils with ancient techniques focused on the release of toxins through pressure point and traditional massage.
The specially trained therapist will determine your body type prior to the massage by asking you a few simple questions. The chosen oil for your body type will then be used during the entire massage as you fall into a deep state of relaxation.
At the end of the massage, an Ayurvedic exfoliate, Ubtan is applied to the skin to remove excess oil leaving the skin feeling fresh and alive. Ubtan contains barley, oat flours, sandalwood, calamus and rose. Your skin is left feeling hydrated and reconditioned. You will receive an Ayurvedic hot tea before you depart to the relaxation lounge to round out the Ayurvedic experience.

Pregnancy Massage
This massage aids in the relief of muscle tightness, aches, cramps, stress, and increases circulation, providing care and nurturing for the mother-to-be! The client can choose to lay face down, using our “Prego Pillow”, or lie on her side, using special pillows or a side block for additional support. The “Prego Pillow” is a medically tested, safe way to massage pregnant women. Comfortably lie on your tummy & back through the later stages of pregnancy when receiving a massage.
